What is the Truth About Success

What is a success? When we hear the word “success,” one thing comes to our mind.  It is a task or goal accomplished the best way you can. Let’s try to find out what we really mean by the word “success.”

Can a rich person be an example of the word “success”? I don’t think so because, if we measure success by his wealth, then maybe someone who won the lottery will be tagged as successful too. How about a person who inherited riches? Would that be success or just a lucky person?

If monetary wealth is a basis of success, why do we hear a lot of stories about a wealthy man who died unpeacefully? Therefore, success can never be the basis because it’s superficial and unreal.

The truth about success is what comes from your heart. What you desire to do; your interests or the passion of what you’re doing. It can be your gift such as serving others or helping people. The point is—it makes you feel good—in high spirit and interest to do it over and over again. And there you grow and work with excellence. That is a success.

“Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph.  Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.  If we do our best, we are a success.” Motivational Quotes
